丸を礎に、人生や感情の起伏を円(縁)で表現し続ける愛知県西尾市出身。1984年うまれ。肉体、性自認ともに女性。中京大学卒業。

素敵な形、幸せの形、心の形、 究極の理想像、“○”(マル)を核にして、 活きる想いを創造している。
人々が最期を迎えるその時まで、少しでも心健やかに、和やかにと願いながら、趣深い〝和ごころ〟へと、その真髄は繋がっていく。

そして、私たちの内側を丸く研磨し、
滑らかにしていく。
唯一無二のものだからこそ、永く皆様に寄り添える作品をと、日々、新たな◯を生み出しておりまる。

会社員を辞め、2010年頃よりシンガーソングライターとして音楽活動を始め、空間ごと魅せる作品づくりへと以降し、個展を中心に活動。

2018年10月、愛知県名古屋市に小さなアトリエ兼ショップ『en』を構え、2021年4月、京都市東山区にアトリエ『en』を移し、現在に至る。

命ある限り、描き、歌い、そして空間を揺蕩うパフォーマンス、己に出せる全ての表現方法を駆使して、◯と、そこから生まれる球体を体現していきます。

Originally from Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture, Maru(circles) continues to express the ups and downs of life and emotions with circles (en) based on the idea of ​​a circle.

Born in 1984. Both my body and gender identity are female. Graduated from Chukyo University.

I create living thoughts with a circle (◯) as the core, which represents a wonderful shape, a shape of happiness, a shape of the heart, and the ultimate ideal.

The essence of this circle is connected to the tasteful "Japanese spirit" while praying for people to be as healthy and peaceful as possible until the moment of their final moments.

And we polish our inner selves to be round and smooth.
Because it is one of a kind, Maru creates new circles every day, hoping to create works that will be with everyone for a long time.

After quitting my job as a company employee, I began my music career as a singer-songwriter around 2010, transitioning to creating works that captivate the entire space, and is active mainly in solo exhibitions.

In October 2018, I opened a small atelier and shop called "en" in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, and in April 2021, I moved my atelier "en" to Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto, where it remains to this day.

As long as I live, I will continue to paint, sing, perform in a way that floats through space, and use all the means of expression I have at my disposal to embody a circle and the sphere that is born from it.
