プロフィール福岡出身。音楽活動を経て、大学で心理学と映像制作を学ぶ。
現在は大学院にて、誰もいない都市空間や夜の街を舞台とした「リミナルスペース」の映像表現について制作・研究を行なっている。
眠れない夜もせめて世界はきれいであってほしい、という思いが作品には込められている。
綺麗事は嫌いだけど、ほんの少しでも寂しくなくなりますように。
Raised in Fukuoka, Japan.
After being involved in music as a singer-songwriter and band performer, she studied psychology and video production at university.
She is currently in graduate school, where she creates and researches visual expressions of “Liminal Spaces,” focusing on uninhabited urban landscapes and nighttime cityscapes.
Her works are driven by the hope that even on sleepless nights, the world might still appear beautiful.
She doesn’t believe in sugar-coated ideals—but still, she wishes: “I hope my works make you feel just a little less alone.”

生絹さん、横断歩道を渡る傘の女性の動画がとても印象的です。音楽からはじまり、心理学、そして映像表現へ──表現手段が変わっていきながらも、ずっと「心の揺れ」や「夜の気配」に目を向け続けてきたんだろうな、と感じました。「眠れない夜も、せめて世界はきれいであってほしい」この一文がすごく好きです。綺麗事が嫌いと言いながらも、世界にほんの少しの優しさを見つけようとしている。その矛盾とまっすぐさが、生絹さんの作品を独特の温度にしているんだと思います。信号機の押しボタンをアレンジした画像のメッセージにもぐっときました。
