宮崎県生まれ、福岡県うきは市在住　筑波大学芸術専門学群卒業。

個人事業従事に専念するため20年以上制作から離れていたが2024年より制作再開。

目に見える風景や生き物からインスピレーションを得て、空想のイメージとの融合を描く。

 

ステートメント

私の作品は、現実の風景や出来事からインスピレーションを得て、それを超えた自身の内面世界を描き出しています。

 

自分自身が実際に目に見ていると信じているものと、夢や空想の中で見えるものを重ねて描くと、『現実のように感じる』物事からふわりと解放されるような感覚があり、とても自由な気持ちになります。

表現の根底には幼い頃より、平坦なものや繰り返しがあるものを美しく落ち着くものと感じてきたことが流れています。

 

ひとは、ふたつの世界を生きています。ひとつは物質的な世界あるいは自己の外の世界で、それにはほんのわずかしか触れられず、流されるように時代を生き、翻弄されます。

ですが、もうひとつの精神世界、自己の内側はいくらでも変化させることができると思っています。

 

作品を通じて、日常を離れ想像の世界のなかで自身の心の内の広がりや自由を見つめ、子供のように遊んでもらい、解放や癒しを感じてもらえたら嬉しいです。

Drawing inspiration from visible landscapes and living creatures, I create works that blend with imaginary imagery.

 

Statement

My works are inspired by real-life landscapes and events, and depict my own inner world that transcends them.

When I overlap what I believe I see with my own eyes with what I see in my dreams and fantasies, I feel a sense of being liberated from things that "feel real," and it gives me a very freeing feeling.

At the root of my expression lies a feeling, since childhood, that flatness and repetition are beautiful and soothing.

Humans live in two worlds. One is the material world, or the world outside of ourselves, which we only have a passing contact with, living with the times and being tossed about by them.

However, I believe that the other world, the spiritual world, the inner self, can be transformed as much as we like.

I would be delighted if, through my work, people can escape their everyday lives and contemplate the vastness and freedom within themselves in a world of imagination, play like children, and feel a sense of liberation and healing.
