プロフィールアーティスト。自然、宇宙、そして心の平和なつながりをテーマに、意識と物質を貫くエネルギーのうねりと森羅万象のリズムをポップで幻想的なビジュアルで表現する事を追求している。
福岡市出身。ニューヨークのパーソンズ美術大学卒業。アメリカのテレビ局でアニメキャラクターデザイナーとして勤務しながら、フリーランスの活動を始める。帰国後は一から始め、アートギャラリーでの展示、イラスト、アプリ制作、壁画など多様な媒体で創作活動を国内外で展開している。
Kaori is a visual artist whose work explores themes of nature, the cosmos, and peaceful inner connection. She creates pop-infused, dreamlike visual expressions that celebrate the undulating energy flowing through all consciousness and matter — the rhythm of Shinra Bansho, and the interconnectedness of all things.
Born in Fukuoka, Japan, she earned her BFA from Parsons School of Design in New York. While working as an animation character designer for a U.S. television network, she also began building her freelance practice. After returning to Japan, she started from the ground up and has since exhibited her work both nationally and internationally, creating across diverse media including gallery exhibitions, illustration, app design, and mural design.

とっても可愛いおかっぱ頭の女の子。パーソンズで学んで、アメリカのテレビ局で培ったキャラクターデザインの経験から生まれた帰国子女というのがユニークです。電車の中でふんわり浮いている作品がとてもいいですね。しっかりした技術で描かれているので安心して作品に没入できます。地球温暖化やマクロプラスティック問題まで言及できる作画力も素晴らしいです。テクニックがしっかりある方なのでこのおかっぱちゃんをググッと打ち出されればもっと面白くなると思います。注目したい作家さんです。
