プロフィール自身の卵巣がんの闘病経験から2018年より夜の光の世界を描く現在の作風となる。
夜は死の象徴であり、光は生きるための希望である。作品にたびたび登場する遊園地や遊具はキラキラした幼少期の記憶からである。私はそれらの瞬間を走馬灯のように描いている。
近作で取り組んでいる綿を詰めた布による額縁は卵巣がんという女性としてのアイデンティティが揺らぐ経験をしたことで辿り着いた表現である。
布の額縁は私が記憶を愛を持って抱きしめたい気持ちからである。
Painter, born in Hokkaido in 1983
My experience of fighting ovarian cancer led to my current style of painting a world of night light in 2018.
Night is a symbol of death, and light is hope for life. The amusement parks and playground equipment that frequently appear in my works come from my sparkling memories of childhood. I depict those moments like a slideshow.
My recent work, a picture frame made of cotton-stuffed cloth, is an expression I arrived at after experiencing ovarian cancer, which caused my identity as a woman to waver.
The cloth picture frame comes from my desire to embrace memories with love.
