私は少しでも、命の犠牲、搾取を減らしたいと考え、筆や動物性の原料を使用せずに制作している。
旅で出会う風景、そこに息づく命たち、人の営み。

それらの、いのちの存在を通して、社会への疑問と世界への祝福を描いている。
自然とはただ在るものであり、そこに善悪や美醜、貴賤、利害は無い。
私たちが相反すると意味づけているものたちは、自然の中では、そんなこと関係なく曖昧に美しくまざり合っている。
私が描いた作品が、少しでも、この自然を表現できたらと思う。
美しき曖昧の中で確かに生きるいのちの存在を描き残したい。
命と命がまざり合い繋がっていくように。
私たちは搾取する形ではなく、全てのいのちと共存できるはずだ。

現在、新たな試みとして、自分で土から絵の具をつくり制作をしている。
土とは命と時間の積み重なり。人の手では決してつくることができない。
土や植物などの自然物から水彩絵の具をつくり、またそこに、人工的につくられた油彩絵の具とまぜあわせる。
水彩と油彩、自然と人為、調和と不調和、どうぶつと人間、生と死、２つを調和させながら描き残すことで、より命の積み重ねや、存在する尊さ、人との関わりまで描けると考える。

Currently, as a new attempt, I am making my own paints from the soil.

Soil is the accumulation of life and time. It can never be made by human hands.

I make watercolors from natural objects such as soil and plants, and mixes them with artificially created oil paints.

I believe that by painting watercolors and oils, nature and artificiality, harmony and disharmony, animals and humans, life and death, while harmonizing the two, I can depict the accumulation of life, the preciousness of existence, and the relationship with people.
