2022年多摩美術大学美術学部絵画学科油画専攻卒業。現在は山梨県を拠点に活動。

ギャラリーやアートフェアにて平面や立体、ドローイングを発表している。

 

景色や環境など、姿形の移ろい続けるもののあり様を探ることをテーマにしている。
起点となるモチーフは、むき出しの鉄骨や、蔦の絡んだ看板など、元の機能のほかに何か別の用途を手に入れ、風景の一部として溶け込んでいる構造物だ。
例えば、元々は池へ入ることを防ぐための柵が、周囲の人々により、上を跳ねる遊具になっていたり、家の柱の木が身長の記録装置になるような、ものの移ろいを含んだものをモチーフにしている。
それらを描いたドローイングから立体を制作し、またその立体をモチーフに平面を作り、そこからまた次の作品へと派生させる。といった過程を繰り返す。

制作の中でもとのモチーフから変化する要素、残り続ける要素は、それぞれが作品になっていくことで、別のモチーフとしても変化する。
形を整えたり、消した部分を再び継ぎ足すような、細分化された要素たちとの関わりを経て、もとの様相や、機能を感じられる形（椅子や机といった用途を感じる形）から移り変わっていり純粋な形を目指し続けるのだ。
純粋な形とは、ミニマルな形ではなく、環境の中に残り続ける痕跡の集積から生まれた形であり、日常的な役割をもった道具に当てはめられたり、作品でもありモチーフでもあるような、繰り返される日々の中にあり続けるための可塑性（私はそれを溜まりと呼んでいる）を含んだ形だ。
「溜まり」を純化してゆく中で、作品は内包している「溜まり」を観測できる唯一の器となり、風景となってゆく。

 

The theme of this work is to explore the ever-changing nature of things such as scenery and the environment.
The starting point for this motif is structures that have taken on a different purpose in addition to their original function, such as exposed steel frames and signs covered in ivy, and have blended into the landscape.
For example, a fence originally intended to prevent access to a pond has been transformed by local residents into a playground structure for jumping over, or a tree trunk used as a house pillar has become a growth chart—these are motifs that embody the transience of objects.
The process involves creating three-dimensional works from drawings of these motifs, and then using those three-dimensional works as motifs for creating painting pieces, repeating this cycle.

Within the creation process, the elements that change from the original motif and those that remain unchanged each become works of art, transforming into new motifs.
Through interactions with these fragmented elements—such as refining shapes or reattaching erased parts—the works evolve from forms that evoke their original appearance or function (such as chairs or desks) toward a pursuit of pure form.
A pure form is not a minimal form, but one born from the accumulation of traces that persist within the environment. It is a form that can be applied to everyday tools with practical roles, yet also serves as both a work of art and a motif, embodying the plasticity (which I refer to as “accumulation”) necessary to endure within the repetitive flow of daily life.
As the “accumulation” is purified, the work becomes the sole vessel capable of observing the “accumulation” it contains, transforming into a landscape.
