1994 3/4 香川県生まれ。京都芸術大学　こども芸術学科卒業。

幼少期より、自分とは異なる力強く未知なる存在「怪獣」に強い憧れを抱く。やがて、自らも怪獣のような存在になりたいという願望を抱くようになる。その思いを原動力に、自己の変容や憧れの具現化をテーマとして、石粉粘土を用いた作品を制作している。

幼少期、他者から「華奢」「弱々しい」といった印象を指摘されるたびに、私は自分の身体に強いコンプレックスを抱いてきました。その一方で、自分とは対照的な存在——“怪獣”のように、人間の枠を超えた力強さを持つ存在への強い憧れを抱くようになりました。

現代における怪獣は、アニメや漫画といったキャラクター文化の中で親しまれつつも、しばしば災害や恐怖のメタファーとして描かれ、サブカルチャー的な文脈の中で負のイメージも伴います。私にとっての怪獣は、そうした多面的な意味を内包しながら、曖昧でありつつも確かな輪郭を持った存在です。その姿や意味は、社会や時代の影響を受けながら常に変化しています。

私は、そんな怪獣への憧れを通じて、「何者かになりたい」という衝動を表現してきたのかもしれません。理想像としての怪獣をかたちにすることで、自分にとって本当に必要なものとは何かを問い直し、理想と現実のあいだにある「私自身」の輪郭を、怪獣の身体を借りながら模索し続けています。

Since childhood, I have had a strong admiration for "monsters," powerful, unknown beings distinct from myself. Eventually, I began to desire to become a monster-like being myself. Driven by this desire, I create artworks using stone powder clay, embodying my transformation and my aspirations.

As a child, I was constantly told by others that I looked "delicate" or "weak," which caused me to develop a deep complex about my body. At the same time, I began to develop a strong admiration for beings that are the polar opposite of myself—monsters, possessing strength beyond the bounds of humanity.

While modern-day monsters are beloved in character culture such as anime and manga, they are often depicted as metaphors for disaster and terror, and are often associated with negative connotations in subcultural contexts. To me, monsters embody these multifaceted meanings, yet are vague yet clearly defined. Their appearance and meaning are constantly changing, influenced by society and the times.

Perhaps it is through my admiration for such monsters that I have been expressing the urge to "become someone." By giving form to monsters as ideals, I have been able to reexamine what it is that I truly need, and by borrowing the bodies of monsters, I continue to explore the contours of "myself," which lie between ideals and reality.
