架空の高校1年3組の少女たちを描いています。彼女たちのツノや大きな耳は内なる感情が表出したものです。また、特徴的な色彩や表情は見る人を不安にさせます。この不安感は作品が鑑賞者自身の内面と対峙させ心の奥深くに潜れるようになるためのお呪（まじな）いです。女子高生をモチーフにしているのは、自分が絵を描くきっかけになった日本のオタクカルチャーの1番アイコニックな象徴だと思うことと彼女たちの持つ根拠なき無敵感に憧れているからです。

I draw girls from an imaginary first-year class, group 3, of a high school. Their horns and large ears are expressions of their inner emotions. The distinctive colors and expressions also make viewers feel uneasy. This unease is intended to confront the viewers with their own inner selves and serve as a spell to allow them to delve deeper into their hearts.I use high school girls as a motif because they are the most iconic symbol of the Japanese otaku culture that inspired me to start painting, and because I admire the baseless invincibility they possess.
