中村豊美は「陰陽芸術®︎」をコンセプトに、日本、海外で活動している現代アーティストです。「光と闇を統合し、その先へ進むこと」「境界を超えること」をメッセージにし、生命の儚さと時間の経過による美しさの対比や、二元性（陰陽）を表現する作品を多く手がけています。フォト・オン・ペインティング®︎という独自の手法を開発し、生花や天然石、蝶をモチーフに、写真と絵画を組み合わせたミクストメディアアートが特徴です。透明なアクリルシートに印刷された生花の写真の背景に絵画、複数のレイヤーの間に本物の蝶の標本を組み合わせることで、奥行きとリアリズムを追求しています。

Toyomi Nakamura is a contemporary artist working in Japan and abroad under the concept of "Yin-Yang Art ®︎". Her message is "to integrate light and darkness and move beyond them" and "to transcend boundaries." Her works often express the contrast between the fragility of life and the beauty of the passage of time, as well as duality (yin and yang). He has developed a unique technique called "Photo on Painting ®︎," which features mixed media art combining photography and painting, using fresh flowers, natural stones, and butterflies as motifs. By combining paintings on a background of photographs of fresh flowers printed on transparent acrylic sheets and real butterfly specimens between multiple layers, the artist pursues depth and realism.
