阿部さんの作品は、「日本の心」を映し出す優しい眼差しに満ちています。しまなみ海道という豊かな自然に囲まれた故郷を背景に、猫を通じて日本の美しさを切り取る視点には、深い愛情が感じられます。船長としての人生と写真家としての活動を両立させ、その経験が作品にさらに深みを与えているところも魅力的です。猫の写真家といえば、岩合光昭さんが有名なので並べられるのは仕方ないとことではありますが、これからもたくさんの写真を撮り続けられることでさらにファンを増やしてください。名古屋のギャラリー「off the record」ディレクター飯沼さんレコメンド。繋がってください！
